Malia Anderson Pictured at center is club member Erin (left) and President Malia with Service Chair Helen (right) who are presenting a check for $10,000 to the Santa Rosa Junior College nursing program to purchase a Pyxis Medstation used to track and dispense patient medication. Erin learned that our Junior College nursing students were at a disadvantage when seeking jobs because they had no training on this machine used at most hospitals. They will have lots of practice now! At far right, President Malia and club member Phyllis present our check for $15,000 to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice for their Children's Bereavement program.
