Malia Anderson
President Malia continues to increase our club's participation in community activities, including a recent $3000 donation to the Active 20/30 KidsSpree shopping for at risk children in Santa Rosa. Several of our club members join other organizations who accompany a child and shop at participating stores in Coddingtown. We have given toys for children, support to the women of our transitional house, and help to keep families safe and together in the Family Support Shelter where our club has sponsored a room since it opened in the early 90's.

Pictured at center is club member Erin (left) and President Malia with Service Chair Helen (right) who are presenting a check for $10,000 to the Santa Rosa Junior College nursing program to purchase a Pyxis Medstation used to track and dispense patient medication. Erin learned that our Junior College nursing students were at a disadvantage when seeking jobs because they had no training on this machine used at most hospitals. They will have lots of practice now!

At far right, President Malia and club member Phyllis present our check for $15,000 to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice for their Children's Bereavement program.
